Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of eco-service.com (the “Site”), operated by Eco-Service (“Eco-Service,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or submitting a request, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. What Eco-Service is — and is not

Eco-Service operates an online platform that connects people seeking local services with independent third-party service providers (“Service Providers”).

Eco-Service does not provide the services advertised or requested on the Site. All services are performed by independent Service Providers who are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of Eco-Service. We are a connection and information platform only.

We do not collect payment from you for any service. Any payment for services is arranged and made directly between you and the Service Provider. Eco-Service is not a party to any agreement, transaction, or payment between you and a Service Provider.

2. How the Site works

When you submit a request, your information is forwarded to one or more independent Service Providers (through channels such as messaging groups, email, or shared files) so that a Service Provider may contact you. A Service Provider may then contact you to discuss and arrange the service directly.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Submitting a request does not guarantee that any service will be performed, that any Service Provider will contact you, or that a service will be performed within any particular time or at any particular price.
• Eco-Service does not individually review, match, or assign Service Providers to each request and is not obligated to do so.
• The terms of any service — including price, scope, schedule, warranties, and guarantees — are set entirely between you and the Service Provider.
• Eco-Service does not control, supervise, or direct the work of any Service Provider.

3. Service Providers and responsibility for services

Each Service Provider is solely responsible for:

• The quality, safety, timeliness, and outcome of the services they perform
• Any warranties or guarantees they offer
• Holding any licenses, permits, registrations, insurance, or bonding required by law for the services they perform
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Eco-Service does not guarantee, warrant, or take responsibility for the work, conduct, licensing, qualifications, or insurance of any Service Provider. Where a service requires a license under applicable law (for example, electrical or plumbing work in New York), that service must be performed by an appropriately licensed Service Provider, and any required license information will be associated with that Service Provider — not with Eco-Service.

Any dealings between you and a Service Provider, including disputes, are solely between you and that Service Provider. We encourage you to verify a Service Provider’s credentials, licensing, and insurance directly before engaging them.

4. Your responsibilities

When using the Site, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information in your requests
• Use the Site only for lawful purposes
• Not misuse, disrupt, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site
• Independently verify any Service Provider before entering into any agreement with them

5. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and all content on it are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any request will result in a service being provided.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Eco-Service is not liable for any acts, omissions, work, damages, injuries, losses, or disputes arising from or relating to services performed (or not performed) by any Service Provider.
• Eco-Service is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or your dealings with any Service Provider.
• To the extent Eco-Service is found liable for any matter relating to the Site despite the above, our total aggregate liability will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Eco-Service from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your dealings with any Service Provider.

8. Intellectual property

The Site’s design, text, and branding are owned by Eco-Service or its licensors and may not be copied or used without permission, except for content belonging to independent Service Providers.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute relating to the Site or these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
